God Is With Us

She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel”, which means, God with us. (Matthew 1:21-23)

Immanuel, God is with us; what an amazing thing to realize that God is with us! He sent Jesus to save us from our sins, brought us into relationship with Him, and never leaves us alone!
During the Christmas season more people are feeling alone, hopeless, depressed and caught up in “too much to do”.
To help overcome these thoughts, feelings and busyness we need to stop, really think on, and remind ourselves that Immanuel has come, God is with me and I am never alone!

Gods presence

How has knowing God is with you now helped you?
